Good morning everyone, I apologize for my terrible English, I'm not a native speaker and I haven’t been speaking it for a while.
I wanted to ask for your help in changing the tires of my mtb. I have a Merida Big 7.
I am using normal knobby tyres, but I would like to switch to semi-slicks, because I travel on a lot of asphalt and little dirt.
I would like to buy these tires and put this type of anti-puncture material in them.
If you have other brands or models to suggest, I will gladly listen to you.
I can't figure out what I should do with the inner tube. Should I get it smaller than the one I already have? And if so, how much smaller?
The measurements written on my wheel are as follows:
57-584 ( 27.5 x 2.25 , 650B 57/100 M/C ) 35B 1.8-3.7 bar, 26-54 psi
Thanks to anyone who replies!

Unless you are getting a lot of punctures, I wouldn’t bother with the puncture inserts, just get a tyre with decent puncture protection built in. The double defence green guard or dd raceguard versions offer decent puncture protection.
I agree with the first comment. Focus on the casing of the tire. Not an insert. An insert will help you if you get a puncture and need to get back to your home to change out the tire, but it’s not a long-term solution. A quality tire with a good strong kevlar casing and a 60tpi will help prevent punctures altogether. But also keep in mind when it comes to puncture or pinch protection there is no perfect solution.
