hello good morning and welcome to the 2024 Classic Bike Show and right here I spotted an fs1e just like mine same color same everything and it’s for sale and it’s for sale but guess what it’s for sale for 82,000 anyway this is the vintage Japanese motorcycle club GT 380 gt38 72 all right there you go there a nice 750 Kawasaki triple over the back there look just nice really nice I have to say it’s kind of my era the uh the late ’70s early ‘ 80s it’s a it’s the bikes I probably know a tiny amount about rather than the older machines which we know nothing about which we know very very little about so I’m afraid don’t count on us for any intimate knowledge of any of these bikes but hopefully Rec in the comments usually tell us what they go wrong yeah we but we are recorded in 4k so hopefully we can get you some decent pictures if you’re not able to make the show lovely BSA Super Rocket that’s beautiful that is it is lovely Kawasaki zed1 9900 2 miles on the clock manufactured 1972 two miles on the clock well because he’s doesn’t mean to say he’s only done two miles is it w lovely gt750 wow that look unusually that is unusual isn’t it yeah 19 20 Henderson is that an inline four-cylinder engine though you’re asking me thank ah Smash in looks more like a push bike that does yeah say it look like a Norton but it’s a Triton so it’s a dresda Triton 1966 what is that get the bars on that it looks like a Triumph engine Triumph Tiger 110 this is the Aston Martin Bruth it’s it’s got the the Bruth engine and The Styling by Aston Martin limited run of 100 bikes me Carol that seat and cut you it’s not looking very comfortable is it I mean where the phone holder is look the the fairing covers half of your phone does yeah in fact is that all you’ve got is you’ve got three little lights to tell you anything I it’s beautiful it’s beautiful but does it say how much it is no it’s not in our budget I know that National Motorcycle Museum stand that’s the main man up there from the National Motorcycle Museum that’s the guy that’s entrusted Alan Mard to do the uh Nemesis Norton the South Wales classic motorcycle club stand they’ got a lot of bikes they’re very small st there I think they’ve crammed them in yeah they’ve crammed them in Ninja 500 or that’s a uh Yamaha GTS with a funny front envelope if you look it’s got no uh it’s got no Forks ah ah but it kind of has it’s got a Great Big Fork yeah it’s got front swing on Yeah a different I don’t think it’s sell sold well in the day a a the 250 250 I think they’re even rarer than the 350s actually AR they 250s are even rarer than the 350s now well everybody I think they converted a lot of the 250s to 350s everybody really wanted the 350 1980 Regional factory color it’s got expansion Chambers on it I think the original exhaust are getting quite difficult to find now W rough Superior there Carol it looks absolutely beautiful looks so much nicer than new ones doesn’t it yeah absolutely stunning lovely tag is it beautiful shape to it look at the Chrome on the tank as well just amazing even the hdle bars look the shape of the hdle bar the seats seat that’s nice and wide that’s nice and wide yeah yeah yeah so I quite like the uh the old Gold Wing as well yeah g000 before the engine got super massive it’s not just the engine it’s all the Fairing and the pias and everything that goes with a gold wi see that they they’re fetching a lot of money now the old C C90 CB I mean I had the c50s the c70s and uh c90s for for field bikes and you can pick them up for next to nothing you rect them rect them [Music] yeah MV Owners Club ni stand is that nice is symmetrical yeah lovely stand go blam me you need to be a certain type of small person to small Italian person that’s nice it’s beautiful isn’t that Rick MZ very very nice Chrome frame another motorcycle I managed to wreck in the time I owned it you just didn’t appreciate the value of believe you got on that it looks tiny well I rode it I wouldn’t say I got on it but I think it’s the same the same piston barrel and head would fit between the ss50 and the uh C50 and the C70 and I think you could you could put the C70 head and Barrel on the ss50 Honda 754 looks nice Condition it’s not Concourse but nice I think you can over polish your bike can’t you I think so yeah we sort of do look like they’ve never seen Road at all how sparkly that paint is on that look it’s kind of got glitter in it that is a real real nice paint job on that isn’t it nice velet Owners Club very nice nice collection of bites oh we’re going back to more two Strokers here aren’t we well predominantly I think some of them are in need of a bit TLC getting 1972 H1 there for they want 7950 uh comes with a spare engine I think I see the engine behind it oh it’s a lot of money still isn’t it basically 8 Grand for something that needs I think quite a bit of work 7 and2 grand for 75 GT 750 Kettle Maron Sunbeam Owners Club nice trials machine there tank looks almost too small for the bike doesn’t it yeah the engine looks bigger yeah the Chinese Benelli stand I think we’ll uh I think we’ll Skip by the uh the new stuff yeah what we’re here for see all that no this is Italian Benelli uhhuh belli SE it uh looks like it could do with a little bit of renovation but it’s still all in one piece 1975 home for 25 years hopefully still right it very good looks like it looks like it yeah yeah they kind of meant to be ridden AR they right yes yeah bits and pieces look at bits and pieces well that’s what people come to the shows for find their bits for their bik find the bits bit for everything yep I don’t think that looks quite white to me it’s got an extra cylinder love the color again it is a beautiful color is yeah still in sparkly your bits this is this is you get all your bits from yeah I think you need to know what you’re doing if you started at that level you do yeah KH 500 H RS 850 V4 water cord weighed 165 kg and was capable of 186 mph written by Wayne Gardner the trouble is when they bring so many bikes in and put more to together you can’t you can’t have a closer look at them celor and over here henford motorcycle club cbx down there six-cylinder engine [Music] 1978 really nicely done stand count very nicely done isn’t it yeah beautiful very very nicely done stand M just slipping something really modern there is they yeah quite a few modern ones on that one yeah Tri phonus Club this is some older ones huh yeah re Scott they’re old there the old Two Strokes aren’t they interesting is there there’s a spark plugy the side look yeah it’s very unusual Arrangement and early water C it wasn’t you know the uh Yamaha waited till the Rd 250 and 350 LC didn’t they in 1979 1980 what year is this this is 1914 no is it it really works TT Scott wow get over there go go you’re there got to edit that out then always quite fancied the Ronald McDonald uh paintwork on the v85 but that’s the guy that’s the bik the salesman in Arnolds Tau me out to test riding all right said it wouldn’t be powerful enough okay that’s like the biker Road in yeah t t we are here to look at older bikes aren’t we really just the Classic Bike Show yes classic now that’s that’s how to light up a stand for filming that is some work going on on those yeah they not standard but they’re lovely yeah Zuki RGV what is that and Lucky Strike colors pity can’t hear these running what is that it’s a two-stroke yeah it’s meant for going in straight lines I think yeah is this yours though is it it looks it looks pretty cool I have to say it really does look cool what your Rd 250 Rd 250 again see more 250s today we SE 3 we have actually haven’t we yeah it’s a bandit Owners Club Bandit yes how you doing I’m all right how are you you’re here again for another year special for you have you oh all right you’re worried oh no go on then what you got to show us is this yours ah all right EV Bandits you’ve done it does it work does it work for the battery to got a special battery being built right at this moment yeah yeah I have powered it up and I like how you’ve got the air cool sticker over it we’re having a having a debate on whether take them off the size of that beast in there where didd you get the motor from then online very good fantastic job just for the record you’re you’re are you most standard yeah yeah most standard folks that’s the man who’s built a bandit e the other side I’ll take a picture of you with your bike lovely stuff nice one nice one good brilliant go right what character what a character just built himself a bandit EV he said he was going to do it last year didn’t he and he’s done it folks he’s done it he’s not too busy yeah not too bad get around everything at the moment people might have decided that uh it’s a nice day today and I’ll go out on the motor rather than to a show it’s true yes got some cookies down there look sorry cookies o they look nice cookies cbx Super Sport it is that’s what they look like though with all the fairs I don’t think they’re as popular as the uh yeah there the unfaired versions The unfaired are the the kind of the the iconic ones aren’t they yeah 1975 t180 prototype oh does that look like a someone’s done some serious work on that haven’t they beautiful that is it doesn’t look like it’s been uh used on the road mine probably plenty of that man beautiful condition I have to say there’s a lot of work got into these bikes well I’m I’m I’m sure there’s a lot of work going there’s a lot of work on it to most of the bikes here when you when you retired you got time on your hands don’t you well I’m not quite retired yet so I’m I’m working up to it well I don’t drink I want pass well I think I think that goes for lots of it AR brilliant cbx is again we’ve got that man on camera from last year not don’t come and speak to you the this year Well we will do when we’re not filming lovely bikes yeah 145,000 for that what for the 145,000 for the 750 yeah 14 and2 Grand folks that is top Endy isn’t it it’s nice yeah but justy it that’s it it’s like jumper it was mat jumper maty jumper Carol the aial club Marini 500 camel looks like it’s a handful actually yeah produced for the par dear ah I thought lamba only made scooters that is a lameta Ceta got the Rouge motorcycle stand that’s a nice stand is it lovely job of that sorry a beautiful job of the stand yeah it is absolutely lovely stand some people have put a real effort in yeah St in that is really good R special the Greaves Offroad boys the size of the fins on that wow there’s there’s one of X500 hiding back there that’s got the makings of a beautiful machine but where’s this exhaust yeah is that it with no exhaust it’s a bit lacking yeah something’s missing that’s going to be that’s going to be a bit loud that is yeah where’s the exhaust is being welded on the main stage is it really it’s the stainless steel pie cut exhaust that’s going on it I was going to say it could be custom but I think that might be a bit loud as it is no it’s a beautiful beautiful paperwork on it though yeah it’s got a it’s got It’s a 1979 900 CX500 a ducatti monster rear shock mono conversion which I’ve done at the Machine Shop got a 2016 CV th000 R front end on it wow so it’s completely Noby TIR you’ve done it all wow that’s T painted all the tank you feel that you’ve done the paperwork are 1. Lovely to see our South Wales Classic Motorcycle Club stand featured along with my father in laws 1994 Yamaha GTS100 and my 1989 Honda VFR750!! – Hope you had a fantastic day!

  2. Thanks for the filming of our (Marston Sunbeam Club & Register) stand Richard. Sorry I missed you both. I was off wandering, although there all 3 days. The Model 8 350cc Sunbeam at the back, with the race plate No 12, was my bike, that I raced in the Swiss Alps last August, whilst you and Carol were probably less that 50 miles away, doing your Alpine rides. Really great video yet again Rich. We expect no less nowadays. Glad you enjoyed the show. By the way our stand won Best British Club Stand, handed out by Guy Martin. We are all very proud after all the hard work.

  3. Great stuff, not able to go this time so thank you for that. 16:30 Those are just like the panniers I mentioned in the last one on the back of that CBX, simple clip off and that carry handle on top turns them into small suitcases. Simple design. Aston Martin Brough Special, well first thoughts are they should stick to car designing! Beautiful you say, well that is very subjective but not a practical ride by any means certainly not any type of GT! Enjoyed that thanks again.

  4. Amazing show. From very nice 2-strokes to mega 6-cyl models like the CBX. 🙂 I am glad that you found the exact RD350 that you had. I don't think that Carol would like that Honda Express that you suggested there. 🙂 Anyways… enjoyed it very much. Cheers. Take care, both of you. 🙂

  5. Thanks for showing us around and for your excellent presentation of what was on show. Lots and lots of nostalgia there from both the time I started motorcycling and well before it.

  6. Great show! I went to the Classic show in Shepton Mallet a couple of months ago and really enjoyed it. Bit of a wake up call seeing bikes I used to ride are now classics 🤣

    8.5k for a fizzy though 😳

Nicely done as always you two 👍🏼

  7. Great to have a tour of the Classic Bike show.. I thought it was the perfect solution so I could ‘visit’ without actually being there… right up until Carol bought the banana and toffee cookie. Now I need one! 😢
Can we get a review as to how good that cookie was! 😂

  8. No way EV Bandit lol not ever lol. The Honda CBX should never had a fairing the naked look is everything . Item 425 stunning . What a nice bike . The Ducatis stunning and i am not a fan of the but so nice . Just a quick one what about the Classic 50cc bike . Just a quick one what about the 500c bikes from the 70s like the SS50s and the FS1Es everyone walks past them without any comment . Thats where biking for most of us took off and yet no one covers them ?????

  9. That new Brough Superior you showed is horrendous to maintain, oil etc has to be changed every 25 hrs, so much maintenance to do , valves etc– I watched a YouTube video on one in France , where they make them now, over a hundred grand too — nice video you guys provided 👍

  10. Thanks again for bringing the show to us, I rode many of those vintage Honda's and Kawasaki's in the early 80's as an apprentice motorcycle engineer, I will go to the show one day.
