it’s good that he’s noticed the bus lane ahead meaning he has to turn right at this mini roundabout I haven’t told him this and neither would examiner likely tell him this on a real test he has to see for himself at the beginning of the test you are told something along the lines of follow the road ahead unless road signs or markings direct you otherwise at the roundabout please go ahead second exit

  1. I got a "serious" fault during my first driving test, because I didn't use a bus lane, because it opened to general traffic two minutes before I approached it. Because an 18 year old is going to be looking at the clock during a stressful examination.

  2. I alwasy use bus lane when allowed to let other inpatient drivers past, especially when in my 2, 5 m wide truck . Some really struggle to see and get past a truck in Amy intellignet way.
In manchester we have a tricky bus lane coming into Ancoats from A 62 which is really unfair as all signs show time limits until last 300 metres or so when same long buslane after last junction is suddenly 24/ 7 bus lane. Peopel need to read the signs. Sat nav is slowing people down and making them like like lost chicken .brain is faster than satellite signal and screen. Many have not worked that out yet. 😂

  3. This is the dumbest road signage. The council didnt put any signs in advance and basically only denote at the mini roundabout. Mind you these small boards can be easily missed at night/ bad weather.
