Spent a lot of time trying to decide what type of bike to get, I've always ridden hardtails for everything from road to gravel to single-track. I recently got a new trail bike and was considering turning my old one into a rigid bikepacking rig but this popped up on a deal that only cost £100 more than the parts required to convert it.
Just been for a 3 hour shake down ride and I'm glad I made the call! This thing rips along with minimal effort compared to anything else I've ridden.
Sure the drivetrain and brakes are very entry level but they're functional and once I've learnt to use the gearing efficiently I'm sure it will last!
Time to find some long distance routes around the UK
