Hello, had lighting installed to my new-ish Brompton. The wires now get in the way of the pedal, which in the right (or wrong) conditions even gets stuck in the cables.
This doesn’t happen in the back, or near the chain, but when the right pedal is in the front position, where there seems to be excess / loose cable.
Are the cables too long or is there something missing that’s supposed to attach them to the frame? They do go through the (correct-looking) opening in the frame next to the pedals.
Thanks. And I’m a new rider so sorry if this is obvious.

The wiring looks correct I think in terms of routing direction from what I can tell from that angle. You generally want the light wiring to follow the existing cables. My only critique is when looking at the first link photo, I would have zip tied the new light wiring to all 3 of the existing cables, essentially creating one big bundle instead of two groups of two. A single bundle would have more tension and would be less likely to drift out toward the right and get in the way of your foot. Try adding a few zip ties that group the 4 together and then see if you continue to have issues.
Did you have any issues prior to the lighting being installed?
