When I was about ten years old, I've watched this lost SpongeBob episode and one of my favorite scenes is Patchy's meltdown over a “bunch of cheap walk cycles”; those were the good old days. That reminds me of the bad reviews on “Wish”, which is what I consider Disney's best centennial celebration next to “Once Upon a Studio”. I could just re-imagine this scene into one where a Disney fan club president and his secretary finish watching “Wish” on Disney+ for the first time but feel nothing but dissatisfaction.
PRESIDENT: “That's it? That's the centennial celebration of Disney? That was just a complicated relationship between an overprotective king and his ungrateful subjects!”
SECRETARY: “What a rip.”
PRESIDENT: [growls as his face turns hot red and steam blows out his ears] “DISNEY BETRAYED US!!!” [sobs while destroying his Disney pictures] “I'm sorry I ever started this stupid fan club in the first place!” [continues to destroy his Disney merchandise] “I'm gonna get rid of all my Disney stuff! All of it! All of it!” [rips out his Mickey Mouse underwear] “All of it! I'm gonna run away, that's what I'll do, run away!” [sobs harder while exiting the clubhouse]
SECRETARY: “Jeez, what a hot head.”
When the secretary sees the post-credit scene where Asha's grandfather Sabino composes “When You Wish Upon a Star”, she rewinds and pauses it.
SECRETARY: “Mr. President, come back, there's more!”
PRESIDENT: [opens door] “Really?” [closes door, then returns and fixes his mess in reverse motion] “Hooray! Let's watch.”
The president and secretary watch the post-credit scene, listening to the song.
PPRESIDENT: “Ah, that was lovely. You know, Ms. Secretary, I now understand that Saba Sabino wanted to write this song to give people enough courage to follow their own dreams, but King Magnifico wanted everyone to rely on his wish-granting magic forever. After all, why would Sabino want to create a rebellious mob to destroy Rosas? Plus, how could Magnifico use dark magic and still be a good guy? Hmm, that's a mystery. Anyway, I was wrong to judge that movie so harshly, though I'll admit that while it is not so bad, it is not so good either. But the important thing is that the core message of this film is the value of hope. And as Walt Disney himself once said, 'All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.'”

That was definitely so rude and very disrespectful for Mr. Percival, Sir Topham Hatt and his engines harshing, raging, misunderstanding and being some big psycho jerks to Thomas The Tank Engine by giving him a unwelcome home party!

Me: GRRRRR… [my face turned red and smoke steams out of my ears] MATTEL BETRAYED US! 😠😡 [entered the hallway and started tearing my picture frames of Thomas The Tank Engine including a movie poster for Thomas And The Magic Railroad off my wall] I'M SORRY I EVER STARTED THIS STUPID FAN CLUB IN THE FIRST PLACE! [entered my Thomas The Tank Engine merchandise filled room and start throwing them on my bed] I'M GONNA GET RID OF ALL MY THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE STUFF! ALL OF IT! ALL OF IT! [entered my closet and pulled out a Thomas The Tank Engine T-shirt on a hanger and throw it across the room] ALL OF IT! [run to my door] I GOTTA RUN AWAY; THAT'S WHAT I'LL DO RUN AWAY! [run out of my door and then started to blow up in anger and slammed my door]
SpongeBob: Oh, barnacles, I felt sorry for Jake.
Sandy: Me two.
Patrick: Me three.
Squidward: Gee, Jake has more anger issues than me, Mr. Krabs.
Mr. Krabs: I know, Squidward.
Pearl: I didn’t know Jake is gonna flip that hard, Daddy.
I was 9, over 20 years when I saw this episode, I can’t have been the only one who saw this and wanted those bedsheets and all that SpongeBob merchandise, not understanding that, whether or not this was intentional on the part of the creators Patchy is a parody of obsessive fandom, though I could be reading too deep into that
