This thing has been around. It was my first bicycle project YEARS ago (hence the name, I was and still am obnoxious), and I finally converted it from singlespeed to fixed. It started life as a 1980 HVZ Start-Shosse, but the only things left original are the frameset and headset, the rest is random stuff I had laying around or could get for cheap. I’d forgotten how noodly it feels haha
I kinda wanted it to embody that 2011 spirit, so it’s a conversion, covered in shitty stickers, has risers, a front wheel of a city bike and a rear wheel built from what I could scrounge together, while also being sorta tracklocross, so 47×19 and Conti Doublefighters it is. So far, it’s incredibly fun, makes me want to install risers and one tooth bigger cog on my Rekord
