Adding a self stick plastic button bumper, between the Brompton front fork blade and the front hook, reduces flexure of the front hook against the fork blade, particularly when the Brompton shopping cart mode is utilized. The plastic button will generally keep the front wheel spokes from going against the rear hub axle and against the gear change chain on 3 speed hubs.
