These kinds of bikes are made quite cheaply. Not to say they don’t have a space or are bad, my first bike was a bike from decathlon and I loved it, but in this price range it’s better to either get a second hand bike or save up some more and go for a 600ish bike

Nope cheap material bike and heavy, not worth it.

I’m gonna be the dissenter here and say that, in the right situation, these bikes can be great for what they are. I took a temporary job in a different city and didn’t want to move all my stuff there and back again, so I bought this exact bike in a different color from an LBS. I thrashed it for a year and sold it when I left. It ended up being a great knock around bar bike and I regret nothing other than that I wish I’d taken it back to NY with me because I can’t really lock any of my bikes up for fear of them being stolen. I wouldn’t care with this one.
