Hi!
I never before converted a bike from vintage deore to modern 1×10 drivetrain. I got this older wheel that barely fits this microshift advent x cassette. I sadly don’t remember such cassette was on the wheel before (7/8/9x). And I’m not sure if there is too little space to tighten the lock ring.

looks good. You can always measure the length of the splines of the freehub body just to make sure. It should be 35mm.
Yes, FH-M737 was 8 speed, it can fit a 10 speed cassette. Make sure the order of the small cogs and spacers is set up correctly
