I had to take the rust of using steelwool, attach a sticker, put on a seat cover for cushioning, and change the bolts on the base of thr handlebar, and that seems to be it. By the way this is my first bmx

Ditch the seat cover, you don’t do much if any sitting down on a bmx really. $220 isn’t too bad though. Won’t be a subrosa bike drop at all this year either as it stands.
You did alright. Not terrible, not great. The sono appears to be about $400 USD retail, so you knocked a few bucks off for used.
