Hey all!
I’m going on my first bike packing trip this weekend. I got this one: https://www.roswheel.com/products/off-road-seat-pack-with-rack
I’ve now realised it clamps to the post – which from my search doesn’t seem like a good idea. I’ve some tape for protection, but more afraid of the post snapping. Do you think it’ll be okay for a 3 day trip?

I bikepack with a large saddle bag on my seatpost as well.. but it’s a round seatpost with a velcro strap.. not sure how well tightening down on an aeropost will be… It might be but if your saddle bag also needs a metal rack for extra weight I’d be concerned with the fact you might actually put extra weight on it.
