  1. For a 1x, The correct length should be big cog + Chain ring (bypassing derailleur) + 4 links overlap.

    That looks shorter than I would run it.

    Looks good, as long as it still shifts to that largest gear just fine.

  3. I’d want another link, maybe two. But I also am not up on 1x since I don’t like running 1x on my bikes.

  4. I would add a couple links in, the RD is too close to horizontal for my taste.

    Chainstay length seems to be 425mm on that frame. If you plan to go 34T on the crank side and 42T 50T on the rear, shoot for 872mm as a minimum, adding a link or two if needed to keep the RD happy and smooth:

    `L = 2 × 425mm + (34t/4) + (50t/4) + 1 = 872mm`

    Your B-screw looks like it’s out of adjustment? The top pulley looks pretty darn far from the largest cog, no? Did you use the B-tension snap-on guide to set it?
