Here’s my Trek 930 I’ve had for a while. Looking to upgrade the cockpit (riding position is a little too aggressive for my taste), but not too sure what size adapter I will need.
Has anyone made this switch on this year trek? If so, any advice would be appreciated, and feel free to drop pictures in the comments of your current set up for inspiration. Thanks!

Are you looking for sweepy alt bars? Sometimes the old long stems work out pretty good with townie bars.
I think that will be an 1-1/8″ quill stem, the inside of the steerer is 25.4mm or 1″.
Something like this with any modern stem bolted to it: https://www.amazon.com/Profile-Designs-Threadless-Converter-8-Inch/dp/B0029TF7VC
Edit: oops, wrong link the first time.
Just get a shorter stem. You have like a 130mm there, go to 100mm or even 80mm and try some riser bars or even touring/ randonneur bars that will give you more upright seating.
I did this with my 970. Profile stem and hellbent bar.
