Ok, so I got an Amtrak ticket for me and the bike on the Pacific starlight. Only that I don’t t know where the luggage, e.g. the panniers, goes on the train. I think Amtrak allows 2 pieces of luggage, but I have about five strapped to the bike. How does this part works? Do I leave them on the bike, or do I have to buy a box for the five pieces at the station?
First time doing this, so I attached a picture of my setup in case someone has more advice. Unfortunately I cannot (should not?) attach a front carrier to the composite fork, so it is a bit tail heavy.

Buy a $0.99 giant IKEA bag to carry all your luggage together [https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/frakta-shopping-bag-large-blue-17228340/](https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/frakta-shopping-bag-large-blue-17228340/) then either fold it up to take along, or give it away when you arrive. (Alternately, use a heavy duty poly trash bag)
(sorry, just adding onto the op’s question) I did the IKEA bag for regional Amtrak across the state (Michigan), that worked fine, just lug the thing onto the shelf with all other passengers’ bags. But this year I’m doing Michigan to Chicago, and then onto a larger train to do the Katy Trail. Anyone use an IKEA bag for checked luggage in situations like this? I hope to keep myself to two Ortlieb panniers packed with essentials, so I hope things won’t get too awkward.
