Have any of y’all dealt with BMC for warranty support? I took my brand new scor 4060lt for its inaugural ride last week. I didn’t crash or bump or anything but somehow I ended up cracking the drive side seat stay. Trail was what I’d call light green at most, rolling single track, no jumps, drops gaps etc.
I took the bike back to the store and the mechanic said that it should be a pretty open and closed warranty replacement but when I called today to get an update he said he hadn’t heard back from BMC yet.
I would think that a warranty claim on a write off new frame would illicit some sort of response from a manufacturer. Has anyone here dealt with BMC support previously, if so what was your experience?

Must have been some kind of manufacturing defect for it to fail on the first ride like that, lucky you didn’t hit any big jumps or gaps.
I’ve heard nothing but bad things about BMC warranty and support. That said, with this being your first ride and no crash, this will be taken care of and I wouldn’t worry.
My shop has only had great experiences with the BMC warranty. We just had a URS frame crack on the seta stay. Send out a replacement. Got it yesterday. The customer will be back on the road tomorrow.
