it seems that the Orange Seal gets a proper Layer of Rubber on the inside, but dries out quickly. Muc-Off stays wet longer, but is not a good choice for thin sidewalls?! Any recommendation for a Orange Seal alternative?

More orange seal more often
Orange seal endurance if you want
Edit: you can try silca if you’re going to be taking the tire off the rim to add sealant. Get an injector and just use orange seal. Those tires are just going to suck sealant dry.

Orange seal actually works.

Muc-Off is terrible, even the rep said they had to mix in some stans to get it to seal.
Orange seal is my go-2 over stans these days.

Even though I like Muc Off, their sealent is no bueno. Expensive, and doesn’t seal too well. Also seems to dry out rather quickly, often requiring refill. Stans Racing sealant is by far the best sealant in my opinion. That stuff is crazy good! Expensive though, and can’t be installed via injector. Because it even seals up the injector itself, clogging it up xD

Muc Off sucks. I don’t know about Orange. But since I’ve been using Notubes I’m a happy Tubeless user.

I’ve found on gravel bike tyres not much fully seals them if you ride 30+psi once you’ve punctured them and if it’s in an awkward place on the tyre even more so , also heat & water seems to effect them sealing, so any holes big or small I tend to use mushroom plugs they apply from inside and I’ve had 100% success with them, I am running a tyre currently with 9 holes plugged with these 👌🏽

Muc-off used to be my go to sealant. But there’s so many better options now!

I had three bottles of Muc-Off. Managed to get through one bottle, threw the other 2 out complete garbage. I use Stan’s/silica without any issues.

Any experience with MilkIt to throw one more into the mix?

Muc-Off does not seal. Worst crap ever. Also avoid their dry conditions chain lube. That sets up like Mayan concrete and will still be stuck on your drive train when aliens unearth our civilization eons from now. You can mix Stan’s and Orange Seal in the same tire if you need a top-up and don’t have one handy.

I’m not crazy about muc off. Tried a few of there products and some are fine others are overpriced crap.

Stan’s Race is the only sealant I’ve used that sealed EVERYTHING, but it’s a pain in the ass to use. Just needs to be replaced often, dries out quickly, and it’s a pain to get out of tires (hints?)
Stan’s regular sucks. Seals almost nothing. Orange wasn’t much better. I’m using Muc-Off after seeing a bake-off on YouTube where it did well but yeah, I had a puncture that wouldn’t seal even with a dynaplug (I’ve had others work fine with plugs).
I want to try Silca next, or go to TPU tubes. I’m not sure tubeless is worth it.

Muc-off doesn’t work, but I mix it with Orange or Stan’s for the UV tracer stuff. Like 1:4 ratio. That seems to hold up.
