Hi I’ve been working on bike body separation, posture, body rotation and foot work and pressure. This is a flat 180 turn.
My question- do you develop the positions eg body rotation through the corner? As in just a little rotated at the start and then medium in the middle and fully at the end? Or ride through the corner with the same rotated posture throughout unless the curve of the corner changes?
How about bike body separation- should that be max at start and then the same the whole way through? And foot position?
It seems to me that I should be developing my rotation throughout the corner but keep a steady bike body separation through the corner which seems a bit of a conflict as the two feed of each other especially at the feet. I’m keeping my feet level with the horizon- dropping outside foot as I lean the bike which would help build rotation if I also built lean through the turn. But that seems wrong as I want to get those side knobs biting from the start.
I do feel I’m getting somewhere as I’m finally starting to hear the grip noise!
Another thing is consistency. After I do the flat 180 drill 20 times I feel I can ride it pretty nice. If I come back another day though I’m all the way back at square one until another 20 goes.
Thanks very much for answers or any other and comments!

I suck, so don’t listen to me, but it looks like you’re kinda just sticking your hips out rather than getting your whole body over.
