If you like it, get a new one, something like that does not happen all the time.
Any chance this is canyon us? They are the evil twins of the german brand. I had a little crack that was barely visible and got a new frame.
Edit. Just noticed it’s an aluminum frame… In this case that’s what I would’ve expected them to do… It’s not unsafe to ride and if it’s a commuter it will get nastier scratches over time.
70%!? I’d take that and keep it and hit that chip with some touch up paint. That’s a lot of cash
