The lockring was loose and came off while skidding on my fixed gear. It created these dents all around the hub threads. Is this safe to ride or will I have to replace the hub?

I suspect there is enough material there to be able to run the fastener up to required torque. I mean you’ll know if the fastener suddenly starts spinning when you’re trying to tighten it.
