Most civilized ride I did was Falling Leaves in Como. 9am start. Ladies ushered to the front at the start. Utterly fantastic day out. Lake Como, stunning riding in that area

Mallorca is great for bike riders. Most drivers give you a lot of space. Only ones who don't are tourist busses (like that arse TUI bus in this video) and some tourists in rental cars who take their bike hating attitude with them on holiday.

Best of luck to you both! Have a great day. Bin bag with holes for arms and head works well for an early start – or a painters suit (those cheap paper things you wear for decorating) although the bin bag will be easier to get from your local eroski. Have fun.

CAMS were superb when a driver hit me in June 2022. I got a cheque for the full replacement value of my bike within three months. The personal injury claim is still dragging on but they always do.

When travelling abroad with my bike I always put my helmet shoes pedals and a spare kit in my carry on luggage(rucksack) because if for some reason your bike doesn’t make it to your destination you can always hire a bike which would enable you to keep riding until your bike arrives.hope you have a fantastic 312 Amy.just so you know the road on the west coast of Majorca from Deiá to Andratx is one of the best roads you’ll ever ride scenery wise.
And remember it doesn’t matter how fast you go
just finishing the ride is all that matters.😉

The one thing I wished the bike industry would do is have a cable option for 12 speeds. Electronic is cool but the charging aspect can be annoying. Other than that, I’m excited for these Vlogs, I’m a sucker for cycling adventures.
The key to start position are sharp elbows and smiles. Arm warmers and a Gillet for the start you'll be fine once you get going. The start is bonkers but be careful, there are a lot of knobs and willy wavers that think they are pro who will cut you up!
