Finally some good weekend weather in socal after what seems like an eternity of clouds and cold ONLY on weekends.
First ride after throwing on the new Reynolds Blacklabel Aero 46’s. Was able to snag them at 50% off the Hayes website as im assuming they were clearing out stock for the updated “pro” and “expert” models of this wheelset that released fairly recently. Theyre surprisingly stable in crosswind (Im 5’7” 175lbs not the lightest person, i know lol) considering this older model uses the more aggressive “V” rim shape versus the “U” most carbon wheels have. (I believe the updated version of this wheelset is also closer to the “U” shape now)
Originally wanted something more towards the 50/60mm, but love the look and feel of these. Likely going to be bikepacking with this one so excited to see where these wheels take me.
