Priory Park Community School embarks on its first charity cycling challenge.
Tradition is to dip your rear wheel in the water of the Irish Sea before setting off on the 150+ mile journey along the Sustrans Cycle Network to Sunderland.
Day 1 sees us ride from Whitehaven to Scales then onto Penruddock for our overnight stay.
The first stint sees us ride 45 miles and an overall climb of 1148 meters.
The ride was completed in aid of raising money for Brain Tumor Research and for Priory Park Community School.
