Just got my first Canyon bike (Endurace CF SLX) and wanted to assemble it myself. However I’m a bit lost and am lacking experience so please help me out. I’m sorry if these are stupid questions but I can’t find anything helpful online…
Cockpit: Whenever I try to put the right handlebar in, it keeps popping out again (see first picture). I’m pretty sure this is not how it’s supposed to be, as I believe that the cable is kinked inside. How do I fix this or is this really how it’s supposed to be and I just have to shove it in and screw it tight?
Front wheel: The front wheel has a different mounting system to that specified in the instructions. What do I need to bear in mind? Do I have to remove one of the caps somehow in order to fasten the screw with an Allen key? Or “just” fix it with the plastic lever?
Sorry if these are stupid, obvious questions but it’s my first time assembling a bike and you could potentially save my first ride today 🙌🏼
