    To my (admittedly fairly untrained) eye it looks like the front derailleur has taken an impact at some point which has twisted it inwards, and now the derailleur cage isn’t parallel to the chain which is causing it to pull the chain inwards.

    Could be easy enough to loosen the bolt on the clamp and twist it back, but it’s possible there’s other damage to it or you might have to set up the front derailleur again fully to get it working as the impact might have damaged the mechanism, moved the clamp downwards or any number of things.

    If you’re not mechanically inclined this is probably a bikeshop job, just due to the fact that the potential damage could make it much harder for you to rule out problems etc.

    watch some parktool videos and you can fix it yourself
