What you see there is the hydraulic brake line; I want to install it there because it’s the way the cable has a smooth curve. When passing it in front of the frame and fork, it twists and goes towards the frame. Is it safe to install it under the downtube? It’s a gravel bike.

Appearance is definitely the first thing to consider.
Looks awesome. Show us some pics in like 4K miles or KM of what the paint looks like on that side.
Completely unnecessary for a hydraulic brake line. As long as it’s not kinked like a garden hose then you’re good to go.
could get into tire depending on bent. would reroute
I have seen a couple builds routed like that on the Blue Lug instagram, but I’m not a big fan. If the zip tie (or whatever is holding the housing on the left fork leg) breaks, the housing immediately goes into the tire. And even as is, it’s hard to make the housing not impinge in any way on the area for the tire under the fork arch. Also, running it this way typically means a larger area of the head tube that will need to be protected from cable rub.
Smooth curves are good for mechanical cables, but aren’t really important for hydraulic brakes.
