In process of doing a single speed conversion on a 9 speed full suspension frame. I’m doing 2:1 with a 32t cog. My question is with the tensioner, I’m gonna buy a single wheel one with a chain guide, I’m curious as to how much chain I should leave. I’d like to have the chain guide sucked up to the swing arm as much as possible so it’s not hanging down. The frames an old school cheap spring rear suspension with the 3 point connection off the “shock” tower, frame, and rear arm. Just wondering how much travel I need to account for (I plan on running the spring very tight and I’m lightish at around 150lbs) not planning on riding it lightly
