Bought a house from a 94-year old guy who was into distance riding (as am I), who told me all about how his father also used to ride distance out of NYC too, back in the day. Anyway, a few years later, found these tucked on a ledge in the shed.
They’re Century ride finisher medallions from the CRCA bike club (which still exists) from 1923 thru 1937.
