Thoughts on this as a trail bike for Colorado, with climbs and fast, rocky descents? Will this bike be a pain on uphills and rolling singletrack? Is it too descent oriented to be used for 50% XC type terrain?

Personally, I’m glad I went FS XC instead of trail, but I’m only 140lbs so I can get pretty rowdy on 120mm travel and 2.4in tires.
IMO, a trail bike for the riding around Fort Collins is a bit like buying Baja truck to drive up Buckhorn.
No it would be perfect I think. I bought a reactor as my first bike and i loved it.
