    I presume mean the chainring. If you have messed up chainring teeth, the chain will derail for sure, especially if it’s a narrow wide. Spin the cranks backward and look closely at how the chain is engaging with the ring. If you bent your ring, you may have bent or twisted the chain too – another cause for derailment.
