Hey all. I stupidly fell off my bike (completely my fault due to hesitation to stop) — I’m ok but the bike isn’t.
Nothing too major, bike landed on its left side and I think I broke the tip of the front hook which I can buy and replace. However I noticed the wheel is making a motor-like continuous sound now and there’s some new ticking.
I’m no bike expert in any way (I’ve only been cycling since less than a year) but I looked into the distance between the brake plates and the wheel, on the right side the gap is way too narrow (not touching though but very close, picture attached) compared to right.
Could that be it? I will try to adjust that (hopefully YouTube will help) but it’s too dark now and I’m baffled by the whole thing.
Would appreciate help, pls be nice (or if you wanna be rude, pls be helpful within). I can stand the noise coming out of it but I can live with it I guess.

Is the wheel the same distance from the brakes all the way through the rotation?
Do the spokes all make the same pitched sound when you ping them?
Previous two questions are checking for wheel alignment ^^
Is anything like the mudguard rubbing on the wheels?
Where on the bike is the sound coming from?
