Hello! I bought this for $20 at an estate sale today. I have zero knowledge on vintage bicycles, so I tried doing my research online. It seems Google hasn’t been able to decode AMF serial numbers. Can anyone help?
What do you want to know? AMF made low-quality bicycles, and this is one of them. It looks like it is in good shape, though!

AMF bowling… the logo is the same. I guess they went through a period of making bikes.

These welds gave me nightmares XD. 20$ is a little high, but the bike is in gokd shape.

you know how the FDA forced kraft to label american cheese “cheese food” because it was so gross that it couldnt even really qualify as cheese? this is kind of that, but for bikes. its more like a “bike sculpture” or something. or just a paperweight. i deadass would be afraid to ride it

personally i think you over paid by at least $25.
that bike is the absolute bottom of the barrel in quality, compatable parts might be hard to find.
