I think you will have a hard time getting a modern bottom bracket for something with an old cottered crank.

That’s a nice color but, based on the quality of the dropouts that’s not much more than a basic bicycle.
I wouldn’t throw real money at it but, if I had a bunch of spare parts laying around and I wanted to build up a basic bicycle, this would be pretty nice looking.

The pain points are going to be:
* bottom bracket & crank – bottom bracket threading wasn’t very standardized in the 1970s, so you might not be able to find a replacement. If you are okay overhauling the current one and using a cottered crank, you might be able to get it going. I don’t work with cottered cranks, but if you have a bike co-op near you that lends tools, it might not be too bad
* headset might be nonstandard size. But who cares about headsets, even a crappy, pitted headset will work, so not a big deal if you don’t make it a big deal.
* seat post diameter may be nonstandard.
* dropout width is likely to be about 120 mm. Tough to find a 5-speed hub these days, but you could turn it into a single-speed.
