Its fine, my gets that too. Its the street dirt and grime sticking to slime, nothing you can do about it, its still less messy thanoil based lube. Just wipe it off with a rug and brushes

How well did you degrease? Chain off and shaking in a jar with degreaser / mineral spirits for several baths? Or just on the bike cleaning? If on the bike, that’s probably the cause. If you got everthing impeccably clean prior, then you probably just ride in a really really grimy area?
We use Squirt on half our bikes and Silce Super Secret on the other half and stuff stays a lot cleaner than that, with either of the options.

I use Squirt and am very happy with it. I also let it dry over night after applying and I have significantly less gunk when I do that

Yup. Ideally you clean your chain before and a few minutes after lubing it. Cleaning simply involves giving it a quick wipe with a rag to get the external stuff off. Lube is only doing its job inside the parts you can’t see. Anything on the outside is just collecting dirt.
Chain care exists on a spectrum. Doing everything right is the best case scenario, but it doesn’t mean you’re going to have a complete failure of you don’t. It just reduces the lifespan.

Clean, lube, clean. Then let it dry for 24hrs before riding. When it’s still wet it will pick up excessive road dust

Really dont know why this stuff wins all tests. Look at the Pic. Red is smearing ability and green shows how much dirt attaches to it…
