i’m looking for a sweet old bike to commute to work and just to ride around the neighborhood. i’m just graduating college so i don’t really have very much money to spend on this, so all of these bikes are between 50-250. any bike knowledge will be greatly appreciated, because i have no idea what i’m doing! thank you!!

Bikes like this only have one 1 gear so it’s for slow riding on flat ground. Look for a trek, Fuji, diamondback for under $100 that is your size( you’ll need to sit on it to know)
These are all pretty rough. I’m hoping that they’re $50 each, not a penny more. Light brown is probably me choice for ‘least bad’ since it holds air and doesn’t look as rough. Dark brown seems viable too.
Maroon is weathered to hell. Pink doesn’t have air in the tires and was maybe $50 new.
I’m guessing you work in a beach town since there are all singlespeed coaster brake bikes?
like someone else mentioned, would consider getting a bike with multiple gears so youre not huffing and puffing on hills.
lf you want a cruiser bike see if any Electras are for sale near by. They are well made and easy to ride. Most are in decent condition because they aren’t ridden hard. Electra cruisers come in 1 speed, 3 speed and 7 speed. Some are pretty fancy. Electra also makes Townie and Loft models and ebikes. Trek stores sell Electra if you want to get a look
