Convert an old bike to a fixie/single speed

I’ve done that before with a similar looking frame. You may run into problems with pedals, fork and handlebars. For safety maybe keep a handbrake, unless you’re a riskier individual.

There are some great tutorials on YouTube. Lots of us, including some fixie famous dudes out there, started on conversions like this. It’s a rest way to learn about working on bikes, learn if you like riding fixed, and really makes you appreciate a proper fixed gear if/when you upgrade.
