As much as this looks like a crazy “frankenbike” / custom creation (I suspect OP is suggesting at that facet of xbiking involving an “experimentation for its own sake”/“can it be done, not should it be done” tinkering mindset), I believe this is a largely-stock time trial/triathlon bike actually designed for performance. I wasn’t familiar with the Zunow brand before this post, but apparently they made other “funny bike” designs (i.e., downward sloping top tube) and were recognized for their inventive designs. Funny bikes like this are not unheard-of among time trial designs, though I’ll admit this example is pretty extreme!

    I’ve always hated how shifting gears and scratching my crotch are two separate motions on most bikes. It’s nice how this one solves that issue.

    Also, a standard quill stem and some ape hangers would give you a pretty normal posture, and I really would love to see that version of this bike.

    At first i thought “yeh i remember the first time i put a short kiddies fork on my bike too! isn’t that cute seeing kids nowadays still doing it!” then i looked at it a bit more!
