Anyone tried any of the products from [Tenet Components](https://www.ridetenet.com/)? I like that they’re based out of Bellingham and actually make (some of) their pedals in town. Their grips have replaceable rubber which is a cool feature. NBD is coming up and it would be cool to support a local business if the products are good.

Shill?
I bought a pair of the Omens and loved them so much that I immediately bought a second pair for another bike. Then the bearings on both of those pedal sets started going bad very quickly and one of them started developing axle play. Tenet was good about a warranty rebuild but it’s not ok for $$$ pedals to start failing within ~6 months.
I also have one of their carbon bars, which I like. Really nice build quality, maybe not quite as comfortable as OneUp or the new PNW bar.
I have a pair of their Omen v2 pedals and grips. Grips are too thin for my liking but the purple swirl is unique and if you like a thin grip it’s a good compound. The pedals are your typical flats, but the pins are honestly too thin and I don’t get the grip like I do with Tmac’s. Fanatak has sales and I think you can pick these up for cheaper through then vs direct.
They look cool and I see generally positive reviews but I have seen a few comments that the pedals have catastrophically broken, something I haven’t seen mentioned for any other high end brand of pedals. I’m curious if anyone has an experience like that to share.
ANVL pedals are Transition’s component brand so that’s also local, although I don’t know where they are manufactured. I only had one demo ride on them but no complaints.
