Free coasters definitely have a learning curve, I don’t like them because of the pedal pressure activation is wack. But that bike will do you just fine. The main thing you want is a long back end. Your big boy frame puts a lot of weight up top and it’s much easier to loop out on a short bike. Ride that thing and break every part until you have a new bike.

So freecoaster is great and i love it but theres one issue. Doing 360s off of drops is way harder without the extra pedal pressure. If you throw a 3 off of a drop and land on your rear, there wont be any pressure and your nose will just fall straight to the ground and i dont like that feeling

  3. Bit short for your height I’d say really. Regarding the fc, they have an engagement point which on some can be adjusted, so you’ll get anywhere from 1/4 to 3/4 of a pedal turn before the drivers engage. So for brakeless tyre taps you certainly can do them, you just have to adjust a bit.
