This 8 speed cassette fits perfectly on the right wheel (shimano 600. silver hub) but wobbles on the left one (wh-rs 100. black hub). So i added a spacer and now fits perfectly. Is it safe? Should i buy a different cassette? Maybe 9 speed? Is there a way to know which cassette do i need just looking at the hub? Thanks

Your new freehub is for 8-10 speed cassettes, but 7 speed can used with a 4.5mm spacer.
Running a spacer is fine as long as it’s snug on there it’s fine. Alot of 10spd cassettes come with spacers right out of the box to fit on 11spd hubs.
Sounds like road 11 speed cassette on the black one. For 8 to 10 speed or 11 speed up MTB HG cassettes you need a 1.85mm spacer.
