Is that all the seat post that was in the seat tube?

Sorry for your loss. That’s a shame but the seat post was way too short. There was too much leverage from your weight on a very tiny part of the frame.

Contact a framebuilder.
They might be able to grind it flat and braze on a new clamp. If there’s more cracks lower down, they might not be able to though.
And get a longer seatpost. You done goofed by having a seatpost that short.

If the exposed part of the seatpost is all that was in there, then that is why it failed. Minimum insertion lines are these for a reason.
A repair there might be tricky. Find a frame builder (not a bike shop) near you and ask them if it’s possible and what the cost would be. I’d be concerned because repairs can cause steel to become more brittle. It’s possible, but it might not be worth it.
Good luck and please insert your seatpost as they were designed! Be safe.

Definitely a minimum insertion issue. Also steel doesn’t just snap, that has been cracked for a while

you ignore the max saddle height? a seatpost has to be minimum 9-10cm instert in the frame, looks like you ignore that and the seat clamp part snap for the leverage, on the pic looks no more than 3cm of insert seatpost, thats deadly. hard to repair, if you find a frame builder maybe can make a repair but if you doesnt know a good frame builder requiest in pace bianchi.

Honestly this is why I love this sub! You wouldn’t get this level of bicycle incompetence anywhere else. I know that sounds terrible but damn. Seatpost inserted 3-4cm is crazy

What a way to learn about minimum insertion. I’d check the rest of your knowledge too, not a dig, seriously make sure you’re riding a safe bike or a part of your body might do what your frame did.

Beautiful frame too. I always buy 330 mm + posts, don’t want to have issues like this.
