Bought Specialized Diverge E5 Comp 2022 last year, did over 1,000km on it. Last year the chain would drop every once in a while, but last year I did much less gravel and also the gravel was much smoother.
This year I moved to a place with easier access to much gnarlier gravel and my bike started dropping chain like crazy. Always the chainring and always in lower gears (bigger rings). It will drop the chain even on asphalt if the road is a bit bumpy. On the last 2 rides it dropped the chain 10 times.
Other than replacing the chainring what else can I do to fix this?

Buy narrow wide chainring
or chainguard if that chain drops outside. Chainguard have to be same level or little bit higher than chain and not plastic.

This is a praxis wave chainring my experience with them isn’t great (they dont last as long as sram ones) but not as bad as you’re describing either. Does your derailleur have a clutch and did you turn it on? Also with these rings the chain has to be put on correctly annoyingly the diagram is on the backside. Sorry if this sounds obvious.
