Hey Team,
Currently riding a 2021 Cervelo Aspero with a Sram Apex 1 11 speed group set (40T chainring + 11-42T cassette) and curious about potentially upgrading to to the SRAM GX Eagle groupset. No real preference between the 10-50T and 10-52T cassette but definitely want a 42T if not 44T chainring up front for the flats. I have been doing a bit of research but still have quite a few questions.
The main question is what parts do I actually need. It seems like a good/efficient/cost effective way to do this might be with the [Ratio 1×12 Wide Upgrade Kit + SRAM Apex Eagle Derailleur](https://ratiotechnology.com/product/1×12-wide-sram-apex-eagle-derailleur/). If I were to go with this route is it true that the ***only*** additional pieces I would need are:
* A SRAM Eagle\* 12 speed cassette
* A 12 speed chain for SRAM Eagle\* drivetrains
* A 1×12 speed compatible chainring
The only other item listed on the link above is “SRAM 11-speed shifters from the Red\*, Force\*, Rival\* or **Apex\*** groups or the 10-speed S-700\* shifters.” I am correct that I already have Sram 11-speed shifters with my current apex 1 setup?
I am also assuming that I would need to replace the rear hub on my current set up sine it is an HG hub and the Eagle Cassette appears to XD compatible.
Am I missing anything? Missing everything? Just somethings? Any help appreciated thank you!
