How can I improve my fakie. I tend to always just flop over towards the left as soon as I start goong backwards. Going back to forwards also seems like an impossible task to me. Thanks
Speed will help a bit. But you need to lean back and have your weight on your Back wheel! Dont give up!

Bend your knees more and lean back toward rear tire as you move your weight with your spin

Cut the bars soooo much harder and faster than you think physics will allow.

1) you only need to go backwards 1 full crank, especially with as low speed as you have, and that can happen quicker than you think.
You can start cutting the bars immediately after getting off the ramp. Save the long fakies for later, and work on that pivot.
You can start to turn the bars about 3/4 of the way through the back pedal.
2) practice pivoting the other way (clockwise). It’ll help you when you learn 180’s to be more comfortable spinning in a consistent direction.
3) that really isn’t a lot of speed, and it’s harder without speed. Really, it is, in balance and the ability to pop up and pivot around. It definitely seems impossible at first, but you get used to it and you’ll get to the point where you can do it without thinking.
