Hi there.
I seem to have rounded out the hex head while trying to remove the pedal.
This is probably a thirty year old bike so it is beyond seized.
Any recommendations as to how to get this off? Or what’s the easiest next step?

Get a set of vise grips on what remains of the pedal axle. Heat and penetrating oil. Right hand pedal is right threaded.
A torx head might give you a chance but you will most likely ruin the torx bit…..
I would weld a nut on the end of the pedal shaft and hit it with an impact wrench.
Since not everyone has such tools penetrating oil, heat and a vicegrips is an option
You could also take a file to flatten out the shaft and fit an open end wrench on there
Is the part of the axle on the front side squared of for a 15mm wrench (I cannot see it because of the rust)?
