I’ve had this problem for a while now and have tried everything to get rid of it (regreasing spindle, cranks, bearings, pedals, tightening everything down like crazy, loosening things.) Sometimes this resolves my problems for one ride then it just comes back again. Does anyone have a more permanent way of solving this issue or just any other way I haven’t mentioned above? Thanks.

If you are sure it is the cranks…
Those are 8 spline, pinch bolt cranks, no? That’s just what happens. They are sloppy and always moving. That tiny bit of movement cause deformation in the splines. Over time, it only gets worse. If they continue to creak after you have re-greased and tightened them, then you have two options… Live with it, or invest in a new set of 48 spline (or Thunderbolts).
