I’m proud of this. I couldn’t find silver 26.0 levers, so I got a used set and polished the one I needed myself.

I know brakes suck and all that, but I’m still happy with it. I couldn’t find a silver 26.0 lever, so I made my own with a beat up old set. The one with the black clamp is how they both arrived. I cleaned up the one I was going to use, and sanded with 220 up to 2000 grit by hand. I buffed it with a Dremel, and polished with a cotton rag by hand then too. It took about 3 or 4 hours in total. The small corners made it really tedious, but I think it was worth it.
