It took me a bit, but I figured out what the seller has specifically as he doesn’t seem to know.
2019 Norco Fluid HT 4.
My guess is the seller (second owner) didn’t ride it much or hard, but the first owner did hence all the part swaps with exception of the drivetrain. Seller stated he purchased the bike this way.
It looked like Spank is a decent brand for parts.
Anyway…I have the base Rockhopper. It’s what I started with. Picture is just there for comparison. I also have a full sus which is my preferred ride and that’s because my rockhopper just isn’t capable of much more than green single tracks.
That base Rockhopper can’t take much punishment. I was told this when I got it, but I didn’t know what I didn’t know. I dislodged the back wheel the last time I rode it going fast over some gnarly tree roots. I didn’t think they were too much for it…
Anyway, I’m gonna talk this guy down. I’m confident I can. I’m thinking $575 max considering it has decent components and a dropped added. I still have to look it over.
Not that I’m going to go barreling down blacks on it (probably)…but it should be able handle more than my Specialized right? Climb easier, more playful, tougher? I’m gonna sell the rockhopper soon.
