    Your chain either has a tight spot which is completely normal or your sprocket is warped or not going perfectly straight. Best way to tell is to pedal backwards and see if the sprocket moves side to side. One other thing that could be happening is your sprocket doesnt have the top hat adapter put on for your spindle. I forgot mine once and the same thing happened

    Chain might be stretched but more likely it sounds like your sprocket is bent. The chain will feel tighter when going through the bent part because it’s pulling the chain to one side and they like to stay straight haha

    Also check your crank spacers are all where they should be, but if it’s only just started doing it then bent sprocket makes the most sense
