Kona needs new owners that are passionate about bikes and not about money. Kent Outdoors thought they were jumping on the COVID boom but it has ended much sooner than they would have expected.
The brand needs to go back to its roots and also start selling affordable and funky bikes that rip – staying free to their early philosophy. Right now they’re too overpriced and underspec’d compared to the competition. A bit of reinvention is due, it would be a pity if we lost a brand with such history.

RiP. My favorite brand, reduced to ashes. Bought and sold in under 2 years. Looking for a seller during a time where no one can sell a bicycle. Help me Marin… You’re my only hope for fun dual 275 bikes 🙁
